The teens of Clifton Presbyterian Church are an important part of the life of the congregation! We are excited about learning who Jesus Christ is and what it means to follow Him. Read ahead to see what we are and do!

Sunday Morning Fellowship
The Middle School and Senior High classes of CPC meet each Sunday morning at 9:45 for a time of singing and worship with other classes, followed by Sunday School until 10:45. In past years, the groups have studied Gospel Light curriculum on the Gospels, Ephesians, The Fruit of the Spirit, and issues around the New Age Movement, and Presbyterian Worship. The Middle School And Senior High classes have also participated in CPC’s Rotation Method classes on the Last Supper, Prodigal Son and Creation.

The Sunday classes have also done mission work in the form of serving a local nursing home with a Sunday worship service, and helped in the dining room of So Other’s Might Eat, a DC soup kitchen.

Youth Ministry Groups
The Youth Ministry groups of CPC participate in local and international missions through support of World Vision’s 30-Hour Famine, the “Souper Bowl” of Caring, CROP Walk, SOME Soup Kitchen, Clifton Day mission fund raisers, and summer mission trips to Mexico and other domestic sites for construction, rehab and VBS work. Other events include helping to serve CPC’s annual Stewardship Dinner and the Spaghetti Dinner. In addition to fellowship times, groups have annual lock-ins with bowling or laser tag, movie/discussion nights, swim parties, ski trips, paint-ball days, inner-tubing on the Shenandoah River, Fun in the Son summer camp, Super Bowl parties, and a New Year’s Eve JAM all-night event. We also join other area churches in mission, outreach and Bible study. Any teen that would like to join us is always welcome!

Fellowship activities have included hiking, camping, bowling, skating and swimming. Through work and play, our youth continue on their path to Christian maturity.
