Interim/Transitional Pastor Jeri Fields
CPC is pleased to welcome the Reverend Jeri Fields as our new interim/transitional pastor beginning January 1, 2019. Rev. Fields was ordained in the National Capital Presbytery in December 2002 and has served as an associate pastor and interim pastor for five churches in this region. She has specialized training in Interim Ministry and an extensive employment history that includes teaching middle school and special education.
Pastor Jeri comes to CPC with the energy, experience and skills to lead us through our transition from the installed ministry of the Rev. Dr. Lynn Stanton-Hoyle to our search and installation of a new pastor.
Associate Pastor Jodi Lingan
Associate Pastor Jodi joined our staff in April, 2017. She received her M.Div. from Wesley Theological Seminary in 2015 and served as a seminary intern at John Calvin Presbyterian Church in Annandale. Jodi holds an MS in Procurement & Grant Management from American University and a BA in Business Administration from Grove City College in PA.
Pastor Jodi was ordained as a Minister in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) on June 4, 2017, at Falls Church Presbyterian Church, her home congregation. She was ordained there as an elder in 2001 and served as Clerk of Session and Chair of the Christian Education Committee, working closely with their youth through mission trips and service ministry. Jodi and her husband live in Fairfax and have a young adult daughter living and working in Raleigh, N.C.
John Kim, Music Director
John received his BA in piano, voice and conducting from George Mason University in 2016. John lives in Gainesville and prior to coming to CPC, he served for two years as the adult choir director at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Sterling. He has also served at International Calvary Church, New York Ave. Presbyterian Church and with the GMU University Singers and the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Washington.
Debbie Kilpatrick, Office Manager
Debbie recently joined our staff as our new part-time Office Manager.
She is currently employed as a FCPS substitute teacher and has a comprehensive understanding of office operations and administrative responsibilities. Within recent years, she has received numerous awards and recognitions including Fairfax County Special Education PTA Champion Award 2018 and National PTA Life Achievement Award 2017.
